Halima Garrett discovered her love for thrifting at her grandmother's Brownsville shop. After moving to Bushwick in 2013, she founded Threads of Habit in 2015. The brand features bold vintage pieces and unique garments made from sustainable materials. Threads of Habit promotes upcycling and reimagines vintage fashion.
