Rental Agreement
Rental Fee. The rental fee includes the dress(es), insurance charges, and cleaning charges. When you place your rental order, you hereby authorize Threads of Habit to charge your payment card for the rental fee. Threads of Habit will charge your payment card the amount of the rental fee immediately upon your rental order. A reservation (booking) of a dress is an order for the rental of that product, regardless of how far in advance the dress is reserved.
Cancellation Policy. You may cancel your rental order at least seven (7) days prior to the ordered delivery date for a full refund. For cancellations that are less than seven (7) days in advance of such delivery date, you will be charged half of the initial rental fee.
Receipt of the Products. Upon delivery, you bear responsibility for the dress(es). You acknowledge that a Secure Shipping Address is highly recommended, which means the location where an individual can physically receive products. If an unsecure shipping address is provided, Threads of Habit does not bear liability for products left unattended. Furthermore, you acknowledge that providing anything other than a Secure Shipping Address may result in delivery delays and additional delivery fees for which Threads of Habit will not be liable. You will be liable for all such delays and additional delivery fees.
Grace Period. 24-hour grace period applies to all rental orders. As soon as the dress arrives within 24 hours after a scheduled rental start date it is still considered to be delivered "on time". Same goes for dress returns: if you return your rental one day late, you will not be penalized for the late delivery. Certain circumstances such as bad weather are outside of our control, and it may cause a delay in delivery. We strongly recommend scheduling your delivery date 1-2 days before the actual event.
Use of the Products. You agree to treat the dress with great care, as if it was borrowed from your close friend. You are responsible for loss, destruction, or damage to the dress due to theft, disappearance, fire, major stains, or any other cause, other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear encompass minor stains, missing beads, stuck zippers, or other minor damage. If you return a dress that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, Threads of Habit shall charge you, for the repairing the dress, as determined in our discretion. Lost item(s) will be assessed with a lost item fee which is 150% of the retail value of the dress.
Return of the Products. You agree to return the products to Threads of Habit in the return packaging on the date set forth on the website in connection with your order. Return of the product will be accomplished by placing the product in the return packaging in any appropriate U.S. Postal Service mailbox or before the date that the product is due. A late fee of five percent (5%) of the retail value will be charged to you every day that you are late on top of the initial rental fee already charged. If you lose the return packaging, you will be responsible for returning the item at your own expense by the expected return date and providing Threads of Habit with a tracking number.
